盘点2001年上半年的中文互联网市场,真可谓悲喜交集。其实形势远没有如此悲观,至少我们在两个方面取得了成功。一是互联网作为新经济的核心越来越被全社会认同,学生创业风起云涌,大批高科技企业海外上市,网络业界人士以自己的勇敢探索、不畏犯错迎接新世纪的到来。二是互联网的商业化越来越逼近企业经营的实质。三年前人们对网站总是问“你的点击率是多少”;一年前人家问“网站的营业额是多少”;现在人家却问网站何时能赚钱、赚多少钱。“Cash is Ring(现金为王)”与为股东利益可持续发展,已是不争的事实,可以说未来中文互联网的发展将更趋向理性化、现实化。再回首年初,美国《幸福》杂志曾刊出一篇
The inventory of the Chinese Internet market in the first half of 2001 is indeed a happy one. In fact, the situation is far from being so pessimistic. At least we have achieved success in two areas. First, as the core of the new economy, the Internet is increasingly recognized by the whole society.
