This year is the first year of the “3+2” college entrance examination after the examinations of six provinces and cities including Beijing and Hubei provinces (hereinafter referred to as the new college entrance examination). For the first time, CCTV broadcasted an important speech given by experts from the National Education Commission Examination Center to the subjects of the college entrance examination. The majority of candidates and teachers are extremely concerned about this year’s examination questions. After the mathematics test was completed, candidates generally reflected that this year’s mathematics test questions had no offending, strange or particularly difficult questions, and they were able to do it all. Secondary school teachers do feel that the difficulty of the examination is moderate and the degree of discrimination is high after they read the paper, which is conducive to the selection of freshmen in the university and is also conducive to middle school mathematics teaching.
