This paper introduces the types of uranium deposits in Bulgaria, the geological background of outputs and the geological features of the deposits. At the same time, the mineralization characteristics and the exploitation of the deposits are also introduced. The majority of the Bulgarian uranium deposits are located in the mountains of Sibir, Silodopolis and the Tratts, with a few deposits in the eastern Balkan. Bulgaria mainly develops sandstone type, vein type, volcanic type and surface type uranium deposit. Sandstone-type uranium deposits take Permian and Tertiary sediments as host rocks. Fifteen ore deposits and mined ore deposits that have been mined, 70% of the uranium produced have been separated by land subsidence.
