What is a technopolls? Several years ago, when the Ministry of International Trade and Industry proposed this idea to revitalize outlying areas and promote industrial development there, local authorities applied to the Ministry of International Trade and Industry to establish a science and technology city. Although a science and technology city has not yet been built, a city on the island of Kyushu in the southern part of Japan that pioneered the construction of a science and technology city shows people the future of science and technology city.
