紫菜多糖(Polysaccharide from Porphy ra yezoensis Ueda,简称PP) po剂量0.2%能使果蝇的平均寿命延长15.40%(♀)和19.90%(♂);使果蝇的飞翔百分率分别提高42.6%(♀)和46.94%(♂);并使刚孵化的果蝇和20日龄果蝇脂褐质含量分别下降20.53%和24.25%;ip150mg/kg,能使小鼠心肌组织脂褐质含量下降21.69%,使小鼠脑和肝脏中SOD的比活力分别增加55.65%和54.69%,并能使小鼠在水中平均存活时间延长86.41%;此外,PP(10mg/ml)对小鼠离体脑B型单胺氧化酶(MAO-B)活性的抑制率为53.55%。
