To explore the method and efficacy of transurethral resection and retroperitoneal laparoscopic resection of renal and ureter to treat renal tuberculosis. From January 2010 to November 2011, 12 cases of renal tuberculosis were treated by transurethral resection of the ureter and retroperitoneal laparoscopic resection of the kidney and ureter.
