小学仪器一般可分为普通仪器、玻璃仪器、剥制标本、浸制标本和模型等几大类。仪器又可接力学、热学、声学、电学、磁学、生物、化学分类,分类放置应符合美观、安全、取用方便的原则。一般我们将色泽鲜艳、能见度大的演示仪器、模型、标本放在橱的上部,既起到保存作用,又起到陈列作用。而数量较多的学生实验用仪器,可适当叠放在橱的下半部分。还可将仪器橱整齐地摆在较宽敞的教室后面或实验楼的过道处,用以放置标本和模型,起到营造科学实验氛围的作用。
