如何将现有的连续波X波段行星雷达发射机的输出功率由365kW提高到1MW呢?本文就此提出了一个初步设计。文章论及了由雷达技术规范确定的发射机系统的基本要求,讨论了发射饥的功率放大器系统,并涉及到了大功率速调管的特性及其预期性能,还有激励器系统的设计问题。论述中给出了向天线系统传送1MW连续波信号的两个可供选择的馈电系统,并且还提到了电子束电源的预期性能,热交换器及监视与控制设备。最后对目前的技术水平能否满足系统要求做出了估价,并概括了可能出现的困难。
How to increase the output power of existing continuous wave X-band planetary radar transmitters from 365kW to 1MW? This paper presents a preliminary design. In this paper, the basic requirements of the transmitter system determined by the radar technical specifications are discussed, and the starburst power amplifier system is discussed. The characteristics of the high-power klystron tube and its expected performance are discussed, and the design of the exciter system is also discussed. The discussion provides two alternative feed systems for delivering 1MW continuous-wave signals to the antenna system, as well as the expected performance of electron beam power supplies, heat exchangers, and monitoring and control equipment. Finally, the current technical level can meet the system requirements to make a valuation, and summarized the possible difficulties.
