Because antimony is readily hydrolyzed, conventional EDTA titration can not be applied to determine lead in antimony ore and its beneficiation products. In this paper, tartaric acid is added to the lead sulfate medium to restrain the hydrolysis of antimony, meanwhile, the conditions for precipitating lead are slightly improved, and the lead titration in the antimony ore and its beneficiation products is determined by the EDTA titration method.
