奥林匹克运动在蓬勃发展的同时也面临着挑战。例如,政治的干预和利用、过度的商业化、滥用兴奋剂、赛场暴力等等。如果奥林匹克运动要进一步发展,就必须重视这些问题,并逐步加以克服和解决。要想解决问题必须先分析问题。基于此,笔者以马克思历史唯物主义原理为理论基础。历史唯物主义是以整个人类社会为对象,研究社会生活的本质、社会发展的客观过程和一般规律。社会发展的一般规律有哪些呢?主要有生产关系必须适合生产力性质的规律,上层建筑必须适合经济基础发展要求的规律,社会存在决定社会意识和社会意识反作用于社会存在的规律,人民群众创造历史的规律等。
