语言是文化的一个重要组成部分,是与文化相互依存的。学习一门外语,必须了解这个国家文的化背景知识,对文化知识的了解程度直接影响到外语语言知识的使用能力。现行的九年制义务教育初中英语教材中有意识地安排了英语国家的文化背景知识,目的就是要让学生在语言学习的过程中潜移默化地了解文化知识,让学生在无意识中感受英语国家的文化氛围。这就要求教师在中学英语教学中不但要重视对学生听、说、读、写等能力的培养,而且要在教学过程中导入必要的文化教
Language is an important part of culture and is interdependent with culture. To learn a foreign language, we must understand the context of this country’s cultural background knowledge of the degree of understanding of cultural knowledge directly affects the ability to use foreign language knowledge. The current nine-year compulsory education in junior high school English textbooks consciously arranged cultural background knowledge of English-speaking countries, the purpose is to enable students to subtly understand the cultural knowledge in the process of language learning, allowing students to unconsciously feel the cultural atmosphere of English-speaking countries . This requires teachers not only in English teaching in secondary schools should pay attention to the students ability to listen, speak, read and write, but also in the teaching process into the necessary cultural education
