化学反应的自发趋向和反应所能迟到的限度与反应体系的自由能函数ΔG值的大小有关。随着化学反应的进行,体系中反应物的量和生成物的量都在不断地变化,ΔG值也随之不断变化。在不同的反应条件下,惰性气体对化学平衡有不同的影响,当温度一定时,处于恒压条件下的反应体系和处于恒容条件下的反应体系,加入的惰性气体对体系平衡的影响不同;当恒温、恒压时,对于气体摩尔数增大的反应体系和气体摩尔数减少的反应体系,惰性气体对其平衡也各有不同的影响,不可一概而论。
