在乔治·奥威尔的著名散文《马拉喀什》中,作者如照相机一般客观地描画了殖民统治下的马拉喀什居民的悲惨生活。六幕场景彼此独立又层层递进,突出了文章的中心思想,即所有殖民帝国得以建立的基础就是压榨当地人民。本文试图从这六幅图着手,逐一分析作者笔下的《马拉喀什》。
In George Orwell’s famous essay Marrakesh, the author as a camera generally objectively portrays the tragic life of the Marrakesh inhabitants under colonial rule. The six scenes are independent and progressive each other, highlighting the central idea of the article that the foundation of all colonial empires is to crush the local people. This article attempts to start from the six maps, one by one analysis of the author’s “Marrakesh.”
