研究显示,英美文学作品的阅读有助于促进学生英语词汇的学习及词汇量的增加。对于富有象征主义的英美文学作品而言,通过象征主义词汇的分析和理解,有助于促进高职学生对于词汇的深层次理解,了解文学作品中所蕴含的丰富文化内涵与优秀的精神意蕴,促进高职学生跨文化意识的形成与内在品性的完善。本文从英美象征主义文学作品着手,就作品中所蕴含的极具象征色彩的词汇进行了挖掘和赏析,并试图从中发掘其独特的教育意义。
Research shows that the reading of British and American literary works helps to promote students’ vocabulary learning and English vocabulary. For Symbolism’s Anglo-American literary works, the analysis and comprehension of the symbolism vocabulary help to promote students’ deep understanding of vocabulary and understand the rich cultural connotations and excellent spiritual connotations contained in literary works, Promoting the Formation of Higher Vocational Students’ Intercultural Consciousness and Perfecting the Inner Character. Starting from the literary works of British and American symbolism, this essay excavates and appreciates the highly symbolic words contained in the works and attempts to find out its unique educational significance.
