一、问题的提出 广东省水文总站与国家海洋局第三海洋研究所、国家海洋局南海分局三个单位协作研究粤西台风暴潮数值预报方法。其数值模拟计算需用容量较大的高速电子计算机,虽然可以较快计算出风暴潮的预报值,但目前在基层单位上特别在地区水文站、海洋站和潮位站,不可能配备这类计算机。因此,要将这一研究成果在实际预报中得到应用,就必须提出一套简便易行的办法。为此我们采用程序计算器与诺模图结合使用的方法,用电子计算机计算出来的各场次台风暴潮模拟数值和用实测风暴潮计算的验算值,编制出粤西各台潮站的增水与本站风速关系的诺模图。这样在台风期间,只要知道有关台风的中
