Master Archives Peter Eisenman, an American architect, was tagged with deconstruction along with other architects for his fragmented architectural vocabulary. Although he refused to be labeled, he still controversially reserved his attention in academia. He is the leader of the New York Institute of Architects (ie, “one of the 5 giants in the architecture industry”). He is an internationally renowned avant-garde architect today. The American architectural community highly values his work. Eisenman is also an educator. In 1980, after years of teaching, writing and admirable theoretical creation, he founded his own professional firm specializing in architecture.
