陆川县从1997年起大面积推广应用新型甲基杂环类杀虫剂-10%大功臣可湿性粉剂防治稻飞虱,防治效果十分显著。去年至今,全县推广应用大功臣防治稻飞虱面积51万亩,挽回稻谷损失2500万公斤,折算人民币3000万元,节约农药费用150多万元,合计增收3150万元。田间试验表明,大功臣对稻飞虱具有极高的杀虫活性,防治效果高达97.1%～100%,施药后30天调查防效仍达90.7%～96.6%,并对高龄飞虱若虫和成虫也表现较强杀伤力,同时它还具有杀虫快速、用药量少、操作简便和对天敌安全
