SQC-6-2770型湿式强磁场磁选机是在总结SQC-10-3型磁选机试验研究工作的基础上,于1976年针对原机存在分选区场强较低(9740奥斯特),台时处理能力较小(10吨),电耗较高(每吨原矿一次选别作业耗电4度)等不足之处,作了重大改进,重新设计的,由赣州冶金机械厂于1977年9月试制成。10月1日正式在铁坑铁矿投入生产试验运转,经过近700小时的试验运转表明,该机机械电气性能良好,运转平稳可靠,经测定各项参数均已达到或超过设计要求,分选区场强最高达18000奥斯特,比SQC-10-3型磁选机场强提高8000奥斯特;
