In the spring of 1938, I was the commander of the 37th Brigade of the 33rd Division. The troops were transferred from Taierzhuang and ordered to defend Lianyungang. I was also the commander of Lianyungang garrison. Lianyungang Longhai line strategic location. In the early hours of July 15, five Japanese planes arrived in the area to circumnavigate Lianyun Mountain. Then three enemy ships rushed to Shanghai from Shanghai, seems to be breaking down. I judged that the Japanese army had attempted to commit joint attacks by land, sea and air and immediately asked Comrade Jia Yushan, who decided to lay heavy ambush on both sides of the rock and build a strong fortification to lure the enemy into depth and gather and annihilate them. The teacher immediately convened a meeting to carry out the concrete deployment and confessed that if I was killed in the service, the delegation would be represented by 193 heads of delegation, Liu Zhenhuang.
