术语定名(新命名)、术语整理、术语规范三大工作都涉及词汇竞争,竞争结果要依靠术语价来判定。术语价主要包括两个维度:一是基本术语价,包括命名价群、系统价、异形价、频率价,命名价群可细分为五个子价;二是受限术语价,主要指同音同形术语、多义术语、同义术语中的受限情况,反映出术语工作中的复杂性。术语价为术语工作提供相对客观的量化标准,减少术语工作中的随意性和主观性倾向。
