I have been engaged in wall materials for 40 years, and I have devoted myself to building blocks for more than 30 years. In the 1970s, he began to study small blocks. He once participated in the Small Group Blocking Machine Steering Team organized by the National Building Materials Bureau, and designed many prototypes of later mobile and stationary forming machines. In the early 1980s, as the first member of the inspection team in China, he studied in the United States for two months. After returning home, he presided over the formulation of three national standards for small hollow blocks. In the mid-1980s, it began to build a Sino-foreign joint venture block factory in Shenzhen and actively promoted small blocks in the local and surrounding areas. In the 1990s, he went to Hong Kong to develop lightweight wall panels and later turned to real estate and construction. Due to retirement and other reasons, it gradually moved away from the wall material industry and also from various academic activities. Recently, while attending the Shanghai Science and Technology Festival, I left for the fifth session of the Chinese Architectural Society’s Academic Committee for Building Materials Academics. I visited old friends at the Shanghai annual meeting, and attended the 11th meeting of the China Building Block Association. The old friends and old experts who engaged in the business of the block business for several decades discussed and read some information at the same time. Some of the views on the future of the block industry are written and written. I wonder if they can play a role in attracting talents. 1. Blocks must be changed from workshop-type production to large-scale ones
