甜菜雄性不育单胚二倍体杂交种甜单304,是由单胚雄性不育系TB7-CMS为母本,以二倍体多胚品系甜217-8为父本,按41∶比例杂交而成。2003~2004年参加省区域试验,其结果平均根产量42674.7 kg/hm2,平均含糖率17.48%,比对照品种甜单2号提高12.5%和0.20度。2005年参加省生产示范试验,2006年2月通过黑龙江省农作物品种审定委员会命名。该品种块根丰产性好,含糖率较高,抗褐斑病、耐根腐病。适于机械化播种和纸筒育苗移栽。多点试验表明,该品种适宜种植在黑龙江、内蒙古、新疆等甜菜主产区。
