Vertical lathe is a variant of the traditional horizontal lathe in many places. Reverse movement opens up many possibilities for workpiece processing and compounding. In particular it is possible to add large tool supports and special machining methods. In recent years, vertical lathes equipped with mobile suspension electric spindles have seized a substantial market as models with a high degree of automation of cutting bushings. With this upside down turning lathe, a large number of bushing parts preformed from bar stock, forging, casting or sintering are more flexible and rational than horizontal lathes.
