白城市中药厂座落在吉林省西北部的边陲城市——白城市区内,周围是风光秀丽的科尔沁大草原。草原上蕴藏着丰富的动植物药材资源,盛产驴皮、黄芪、桔梗、黄芩等名贵中药材。白城市中药厂利用这些珍贵的药材资源,由原来的商办企业逐步发展成能生产蜜丸、胶囊剂、片剂等九种剂型和七十五个品种的中成药国营生产企业。该厂现有职工310人,固定资产356万元,占地面积9000m~2,建筑面积6000m~2。年产值2000万元,利润250万元。厂内设有负责新产品开发工作的药物研究所,另建有50000m~2的动、植物药饲养、栽培场。该厂生产的乌鸡白风丸,曾得部优产品称号,它的主要原料药
Baicheng Chinese Medicine Factory is located in Baicheng, a border city in the northwestern part of Jilin province, surrounded by the beautiful Horqin prairie. The prairie has rich resources of animal and plant herbs, and it is rich in rare Chinese herbal medicines such as donkey skin, astragalus, bellflower and astragalus.
