人类社会已进入新世纪,随着时代背景、社会背景的变化,以及教学改革的不断深入,体育教学目标问题又一次凸现出来。对体育教学目标这个问题的正确认识与否,将直接影响学校体育的发展及其新的增长点。新中国建立以来的第八次基础教育改革,自2001年正式启动至今已历时八个年头。从整体上看,这次课程改革取得了很大的进步,把过去大纲定位的三大目标与任务,即:掌握技能、增强体质、道德教育,划分为五个领域目标:运动参与、运动技能、身体健康、心理健康、社会适应。可以说与过去相比发生了很大的变化,但具体分析仍有很多差强人意的不足。
