OBJECTIVE: To observe the changes of photopic sensitivity of photocoagulation in the early central visual field of choroidal neovascularization (CNV) disease. Methods: PDT was performed in 23 patients (23 eyes) confirmed by fundus fluorescein angiography and indocyanine green choroidal angiography in 16 patients with choroidal neovascularization, including 16 cases of wet age-related macular degeneration Eyes), central exudative chorioretinopathy in 5 cases (5 eyes), high myopia in 2 cases (2 eyes). Before PDT treatment and 3 days, 7 days, 1 month and 3 months after treatment, Octopus10 type 1 automatic static vision instrument M2 macular threshold test program and 32 threshold test program of Swiss Interzeag company were respectively used to evaluate the influence of each eye center Mean sensitivities (MS) and meandefect (MD) were measured and compared at 10 ° and 30 °. Results: At 3 months after PDT, the visual acuity of 2 eyes (8 70%) was increased by 2 lines, while the rest of eyes had no change in visual acuity. Compared with pretreatment PDT, there was no significant change in 10 ° MS and MD of macular area 3 days, 7 days, 1 month and 3 months after treatment (P 0 05), but 7 days, 1 month and 3 The MS of 30 ° visual field at month center was significantly higher than that before treatment (P <0.05), and MD was significantly decreased (P <0.05). Conclusion: PDT can effectively improve the retinal light sensitivity outside the macular area in the early stage of CNV disease
