Recently, reporters went to visit and were very impressed with the museum’s extensive collection of folk literature, the systematization of management and the scientific management. Finnish Folklore Archives is located in an antique building east of Helsinki city center, sub-archives, libraries, publishers and offices in four parts. Twenty staff members of the museum are responsible for collecting and arranging oral literature circulated in the private sector, searching reference materials for relevant researchers, and compiling and publishing thirty works of folk literature every year.
