用鼠模型作实验证实干扰素有抗乙型脑炎的活性,但在急性乙型脑炎(乙脑)病人恢复期时α-干扰素(IFN-α)的作用还不清楚。为了判定 IFN-α在急性乙脑恢复期是否起重要作用,作者检测了患急性乙脑死亡和存活病人血浆及脑脊液(CSF)标本中IFN-α的活性水平。作者收集49例确诊为急性乙脑病人,均为儿童。其中16例于入院后1~7天死亡,从10例尸体获得CSF 作干扰素试验。从33例存活病人中选择10例年龄相匹配的儿童,取 CSF 作对照比较。
Experiments with murine models confirm that interferon has anti-Encephalitis activity, but the role of interferon-alpha (IFN-α) in the recovery of patients with JE is not yet known. To determine whether IFN-α plays an important role in the recovery of acute JE, the authors examined the level of IFN-α in plasma and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) specimens of patients with acute JE death and survival. The authors collected 49 cases of patients diagnosed with acute J, all children. Of these, 16 died 1 to 7 days after admission and CSF was obtained from 10 corpses as interferon test. Ten cases of age-matched children were selected from 33 surviving patients and CSF was compared as a control.
