С.Н.Журков1977年曾指出,强度动力学理论的各项原理可以应用于研究长期有效载荷下岩石的破裂。在此基础上,可以用雪崩式不稳定裂缝形成的模型来描述统计上均匀介质中的地震孕育过程。与此同时,大家都知道,地震活动区域的地壳结构本质上是不均匀的,并且大地震常与深断裂联系在一起。作者1979年曾发表关于岩石中不均匀性的系统分类。可见,需要发展符合于不均匀介质的各种地震孕育模型。

On this basis, the model of avalanche-instable crack formation can be used to describe the seismogenic process in a statistically homogeneous medium. At the same time, we all know that the crustal structure in the seismic area is intrinsically inhomogeneous, and large earthquakes are often associated with deep faults. The author published a systematic classification of inhomogeneities in rocks in 1979. Thus, it is necessary to develop a variety of earthquake gestation models that are consistent with inhomogeneous media.
