说到书标,很多人会联想到藏书票或藏书印,但书标却与藏书票和藏书印有很大的区别,藏书票和藏书印因为制作、个性化等原因而很难达到量产。而书标却是融和了书籍封面图案、内容介绍等一系列信息,为了配合精品图书而发行的一种文化内涵较高的收藏品。书标每套一般4枚、6枚或8枚,每枚发行价在5—30元不等,其中以5元价居多。它们大多设计新颖,印制精美,并用国际标准PVC材料制作成如银行卡般大小的卡片。它的正面为图书封面及插图,一般是彩色,背面为黑白色,包括版权页、图书内容简介或发行背景、图书主题等。
