形态是设计学科中一个很重要的概念,书籍的形态即指书籍的造型结构以及神韵。书籍的神韵和内涵的结合都是靠书籍的外形来表现的。现代书籍形态的设计,打破了我们传统观念中书籍的形式和单单仅靠文字传递信息的束缚,不再仅是视觉上的体验,而是更多感官上的互动的,是一项完整的新形视觉传达的活动。随着现代印刷工艺的飞速发展和电脑技术的进步,制作书籍的材料的选择性也多样化了起来。重塑新形态和不同质感的书籍,可以让读者在阅读的过程中感官体验得到提升,同时又能将书籍以不同功能不同类型进行分类,也进一步推动了市场,一定程度的刺激了书籍设计艺术的商业价值。本文从书籍的比例方面、造型、空间结构及表现材料等方面来论述现代书籍形态各个方面的创意设计。
