The characteristics, development status, application fields and photoluminescence mechanism of novel photo-induced long afterglow materials with aluminate as substrate and rare earth as activator or activator are introduced. The luminescent resin, luminescent ceramics, colored luminescent complex and the modified treatment process, product characteristics and application of the luminescent resin made from the luminescent material into the luminescent powder are mainly reviewed.
