This article reports the result of radioimmunoassay of monoclonal antibody CA_ (50) in serum and pleural effusion of patients with malignant and tuberculous exudate. Twenty-seven of 45 patients had malignant tumors. Including 12 cases of lung adenocarcinoma, 7 cases of pulmonary epidermoid carcinoma, 2 cases of lung cell degeneration and 2 cases of breast cancer, the other 4 cases did not confirm the cell type; 18 cases of benign exudate of the lung
