北方昆曲剧院最近成功地演出了新历史剧《文成公主》(許宝駒作剧,黃励、时(弓山又)、白云生整理,馬祥麟、白云生导演)。和同期演出的田汉同志新作話剧《文成公主》相比較,我觉得两个戏都很好,各有千秋,堪称双璧。关于《文成公主》演出的思想意义以及話剧《文成公主》的出色成就,很多文章都有定評。这里,我只就昆曲《文成公主》在艺术創作上的特点,談一下个人的浅見。昆曲剧本舍却了各族使臣到长安請婚以及唐太宗为文成公主选婿等民間优美传說的描写,而开門見山地从唐太宗在渭桥送別公主远嫁开始。这就騰出笔力,
