Learning mathematics is learning a kind of complicated and simplified mathematics. It is a way of thinking to solve a problem. Solving problems should be the center of mathematics curriculum. The process of solving problems is the process that young children start from life experience and objective facts, discover through active exploration, find mathematics, and study mathematics. What are the key factors that teachers need to provide for young children’s active exploration?
