2003年,由于北京爆发了“非典”的原因,当年各家拍卖行的春季拍卖会都推迟到了夏季。而在7月12日举行的中国嘉德春拍上,一幅由我国著名画家吴作人先生创作的巨幅油画《战地黄花分外香》拍出了352万元。拍卖是从48万元起拍的,经过了场内三位藏家和两位电话委托的激烈竞争,终于刷新了吴作人作品的拍卖纪录。
In 2003, due to the outbreak of “SARS” in Beijing, the spring auctions of various auction houses were postponed to summer. In the China Guardian Spring Auction held on July 12, a huge oil painting by the famous painter Wu Zuoren in our country, “Field Huanghuanyixiangxiang”, has sold 3,520,000 yuan. The auction was started from 480,000 yuan. After a fierce competition commissioned by three collectors and two telephones in the venue, the auction record of Wu Zuoren’s works was finally refreshed.
