乌干达水产科研人员对罗非鱼饲料中棉籽饼用作植物蛋白源对鱼生长、消化、肝中棉酚浓度、饲料利用率和鱼体矿物质组成的影响进行了测定。试验鱼平均体重12g,分别投喂5种试验饲料,每种饲料设3个重复。饲料中用棉籽饼分别代替0、25、50、75、100％的鱼粉。试验在循环水槽中进行,水温（27±1）℃,试验16周。测出棉籽饼代替50％鱼粉的饲料喂养的尼罗罗非鱼生长与投喂对照饲料的鱼无显著性差异。棉籽饼替代率在50％以上,罗非鱼生长下降。棉籽饼替代率在75％以上,鱼体中的铁、钙、磷浓度降
Ugandan aquaculture researchers tested the effect of using cottonseed cake as a plant protein source in tilapia feed on fish growth, digestion, gossypol in the liver, feed utilization, and mineral composition of the fish. The average weight of the test fish 12g, were fed five kinds of test feed, each feed set three replicates. Feed cottonseed cake instead of 0,25,50,75,100% of fish meal. The test was carried out in a circulating water bath with a water temperature of (27 ± 1) ° C for 16 weeks. There was no significant difference in the growth of Nile tilapia fed cottonseed cake instead of 50% fishmeal compared with the fish fed the control diet. Cottonseed cake replacement rate of more than 50%, tilapia growth decreased. Substitution rate of cottonseed cake in more than 75% of the fish in the iron, calcium, phosphorus concentration decreased
