Japan Lime Industry Co., Ltd. has recently developed technology for the production of non-hazardous building materials using municipal waste incineration and asbestos. The technology prepares waste ash and asbestos according to a certain proportion, stirs them uniformly, and then puts them into an electric furnace or a gas furnace to heat them. After a certain chemical reaction, the asbestos is converted into harmless substances, thereby forming a sintered body with high strength and high hardness.
