In early August 1996, “Prehistoric Cities and Colony Archeology Symposium” organized by the editorial department of “Cultural Relics” monthly was held in Suizhong County, Liaoning Province. More than 30 scholars from the departments of Archeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Department of Archeology of Peking University, and some members of the editorial department of “Cultural Relics” attended the forums from Liaoning, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan, Jiangxi, Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces seminar.
