民间美术作为中华民族民间文化的载体,是组成中华民族风俗文化不可或缺的一部分,它是劳动人民的艺术创造成果,在民间具有实用性、民族风俗性和民族本源性的特征。而现代艺术设计同样具有民间美术所拥有的实用性特征,但是现代艺术设计所具有的当代应用创意活动是民间美术所不具备的,所以两者之间既有差异又有融合。现代艺术设计要想长远发展只有立足于民间美术之上才能得到更好的发展,这样还能使现代艺术设计更加具有民族艺术特色。
As a carrier of Chinese folk culture, folk art is an indispensable part of the customs and culture of the Chinese nation. It is the result of artistic creation of the working people and has the characteristics of practicability, national custom and national origin in the folk. However, modern art design also possesses the practical characteristics of folk art. However, the contemporary creative activities of modern art design are not available in folk art, so there are both differences and integration between the two. In order to achieve better development of modern art design in the long run, only based on folk art, it can make modern art design more characteristic of national arts.
