在党的十七大代表中,有一位“院士代表”显得格外与众不同,他叫黄伯云。黄伯云,中国工程院院士、中南大学校长,还领导着国家“863”新材料技术委员会,同时,还担任4家校办公司的董事长……身兼数职。但鲜为人知的是,他还是我国新时期第一个留美“海归”。黄伯云说:“是不是第一个‘海归’并不重要,重要的是,看你是否有理想有志气,为国家做了多少事,做了多大的事……”
