本文阐述了用阴极直接还原法处理硫化汞以提取金属汞的试验结果和理论分析。在试验所确定的最佳条件下,电解过程的电流效率、槽电压、活汞直收率和电能消耗等指标都令人满意。试验还测定了电极反应活化能并确定硫化汞阴极直接还原受扩散传质过程所控制。根据测定的极化曲线,对阴、阳极过程的反应机理进行了初步探讨。试验所获得的结果为进一步研究处理硫化汞精矿的新方法打下了基础。
This paper describes the experimental results and theoretical analysis of the mercury direct cathode direct reduction method for the treatment of mercuric sulfide. Under the best conditions determined in the experiment, the current efficiency of electrolytic process, cell voltage, direct mercury yield and energy consumption were all satisfactory. The test also measured the electrode activation energy and determined that the direct reduction of mercuric sulfide cathode was controlled by diffusion and mass transfer. According to the measured polarization curves, the reaction mechanism of the anodic and cathodic processes was discussed. The results obtained from the tests laid the foundation for further research on new methods of treating mercuric sulfide concentrates.
