Jia Guoqiang was born in 1977 in Shandong Tancheng. From 1999-2003, he studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts Chinese Painting Institute with a bachelor’s degree. From 2004-2007, he studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Chinese Painting Institute and obtained a master’s degree. Since 2007, he has been teaching at the Central Academy of Fine Arts.
