Appreciation of the appreciation of William Faulkner’s Rose for Emily. The rose flower that Faulkner dedicated to Emily was very symbolic. It is the incarnation of beauty and nobleness, but at the same time, it is incomplete and inevitably diminishes its fate. This article tries to find out the profound implication behind Emily’s character and the image of rose and the author’s affection in it.
