研制成功了一种亮度特性显著改进了的高亮度荧光粉Y_3A_(5-X)Ga_XO_(12):Tb(x=0~5)并已用于投影管。用Ga代替AG中部分的Al改善了这种荧光粉的亮度Y和饱和特性。在低电流密度下Y_3A!_3Ga_2O_(12)Tb:和Y_3AlO_(412):Tb的亮度几乎一样,但在高电流密度下前者的亮度差不多是后者的两倍。介绍了Y_3Al_(5-X)Ga_XO_(12):Tb荧光粉的亮度和饱和特性并和投影管用的其它绿色荧光粉进行了比较。
A bright phosphor Y_3A_ (5-X) Ga_XO_ (12): Tb (x = 0 ~ 5) with remarkably improved luminance characteristics has been successfully developed and used in projection tubes. Substituting Al for part of Al in Ga improves the luminance Y and saturation characteristics of this phosphor. At low current densities, the brightness of Y_3A_3Ga_2O_ (12) Tb: and Y_3AlO_ (412): Tb are almost the same, but the brightness of the former is almost twice that of the latter at high current density. The brightness and saturation characteristics of Y_3Al_ (5-X) Ga_XO_ (12): Tb phosphors are introduced and compared with other green phosphors for projection tubes.
