中国诗歌的历史,仅从《诗经》算起,就有三千多年,曾以诗歌闻名于世界,被誉为“诗国”。在这个诗国中涌现了群星璀璨的诗人,创造出浩如烟海的诗篇,它们是中华民族永远的瑰宝。小学语文教材中收有几十篇古诗,大多是叙事诗、写景诗、咏物诗。这些诗清新自然,脍炙人口,艺术性极高。小学生可以从中领略祖国山河的壮美;了解民族历史的演变;感受汉语言表达的丰富和美好;可以陶冶情操、培养想象力、思维能力、审美能力。可是由于时过境迁,无论是社会情况,还是人情风俗,都是当今小学生
