This is a unique landscape of this era. Millions of people from rural areas, small towns, suburbs and other places came to prosperous cities in order to live a better life and leave their hometown. As a result, “migrant workers” has become a peculiar term emerged in the nineties of last century. More than a decade later, the army of migrant workers has become increasingly large, migrating from place to place as a migratory bird among impoverished towns and bustling cities. Behind this mighty army is a group of “little birds” living in this special environment. They accompany grandparents and grandparents grandparents to stay in their hometown, or follow the migrant workers away from hometown. In keeping watch and fleeing, they became an equally large army of “left-behind” and “migratory birds.” They are frail birds, a group of children who need more love - family, school, life, and soul. Special issue of this issue, let us focus attention on migrant workers who focus on children. Is your child one of them? Is your sibling's child one of them? Is your neighbor's child one of them? Is your child in the class one of them? Have your eyes on them? Have your big hands tried to hold their little hands off? What can we do for them as parents? What can we do for them as teachers? What can we do for those of us who are concerned about the future?
