Doing an effective job of English teaching in early high school will be beneficial to English teaching in senior high school. This article, based on teachers’ point of view, is based on the requirements of the new curriculum reform. According to the author’s years of teaching practice, some effective coping strategies are put forward based on the existing problems in English learning of freshmen.
