普通话水平测试是中国当代语言规划的产物,是目前为止国内规模最大的一项口语测试,也是具有中国特色的一项测试事业。该测试发展17年来,已经成为国家普通话推广工作的重要组成部分。随着汉语国际推广步伐的不断加快,普通话水平测试开始踏出国门,正在发挥更加重要的作用。该测试在我国首开汉语标准语口语考试的先河,是语言学及应用语言学的学术研究与社会需要相结合的综合性成果。政策性与权威性、科学性与学术性的有机结合,是该测试不同于其他考试的显著特点,也是决定该测试未来发展的重要基础和先决条件。
Putonghua proficiency testing is a product of contemporary Chinese language planning and is by far the largest spoken language test in China. It is also a test project with Chinese characteristics. The test has been developed for 17 years and has become an important part of the promotion of Mandarin. As the pace of international promotion of Chinese continues to accelerate, Putonghua proficiency testing begins to take its place in the world and is playing an even more important role. This test is the first in our country to start the oral test of Chinese standard language and is a comprehensive result combining the academic research of linguistics and applied linguistics with the social needs. The organic combination of policy and authority, science and scholarness is not only a distinguishing feature of this test from other tests, but also an important basis and prerequisite for determining the future development of this test.
