邓小平同志作为我们党第一代领导集体的重要成员、第二代领导集体的核心,一贯十分重视思想政治工作。特别是改革开放以来,邓小平同志从社会主义现代化建设的全局出发,对思想政治工作的地位作用、目标任务、方针原则、方法途径,作了一系列论述,形成了理论体系,成为建设有中国特色社会主义理论的重要内容。由全国政研会组织编写的《邓小平新时期思想政治工作理论学习概要》(以下简称《概要》)的出版,对贯彻中央关于“理论武装工作向一系列重要领域战略思想和理论观点拓展”的要求,深入学习邓小平建设有中国特色社会主义理论,特别是全面学习、掌握邓小平思想政治工作理论,指导新时期思想政治工作的发展,是十分必要的,非常及时的。
